About

works in sustainable land use planning and design. She holds a deep interest in the potential for social and ecological regeneration in public spaces, especially in an urban context. Agriculturally speaking, Liz has pursued low-impact living and organic farming in Hawaii, Israel, Oregon, and Massachusetts.

Having studied and practiced drawing, painting, graphic design, landscape design, photography, and sculpture, Liz often implements graphics as a conceptualization and communication tool. Her interest in the arts is far-reaching and she characteristically uses materials in nontraditional ways: She has been known to paint with markers, draw with a needle & thread, and market herself using cereal box-backed business cards.

Liz finds great hope in the cross-pollination of art and the environment for the purposes of place-making and community-building.
